Ertuğrul Umut Uysal worked at the Treasury Management Department 4 years and has been working at the Risk Management Department for 12 years at Ziraat Bank. He is the Market & Operational Risk Manager of Ziraat Bank and an instructor in the Bank. He holds FRM charter and has publications on risk management. His expertise on operational risk is related with advanced measurement methods, risk indicators, operational risk rating of branches of the bank, IT related risks, business continuity planning, self assesment analysis. He joined operational risk related studies within the groups constituted by the Turkish Bankers Association. His expertise on market risk is related with currency, interest rate, liquidity risks, Value at Risk analysis, limits set within these risks, stress testing, derivative pricing etc.
He is a PhD Student at Business Administration of Hacettepe University since 2010 and has a master’s degree in Economy Politics of Gazi University and bachelor degree of Middle East Technical University. He is a graduate of Ankara Fen Lisesi.
